“Here’s a giant red one!” said Tex.

“And here’s a perfect orange one,” said Indi.

“Great,” said Dad. “Now that our collection bag is full, we can go home and make our autumn-leaf display for the store.”

“Can we stay and play in the park? Please?” asked Indi.

Dad checked his watch. “Sure, we have a little time.”

Tex and Indi began throwing leaves above their heads. Before long, Dad put down the bag and joined in. Soon, everyone was covered with leaves.

“Uh-oh,” said Dad. “I don’t see our bag.”

“Oh, no,” said Tex. “How can we find it in all these leaves?”

“Let’s pretend we’re deep-sea divers searching for underwater treasure!” said Indi.

“Yes!” said Tex. “But watch out for sea serpents!”

The twins and Dad searched and searched. Just as they were about to give up, Indi called out, “I found the treasure!”

“Hooray!” said Tex.

“Great searching, you deep-sea divers. Now, who is ready for some hot cocoa while we make our leaf display?”
